This product 257952 is a leaf spring for Volvo trucks, with a uniform straight length of 860 mm. This parameter directly determines the space occupation requirement of the product in an assembling scenario and is one of the core indicators for installation adaptability. This model of assembly is formed by combining three steel plates, two steel-rubber composite bushings, and one central bolt. A spacer is placed between every two spring leaves, totaling three spacers, which serve to reduce vibration or adjust the gap between the spring leaves. This model of assembly demonstrates excellent performance in normal fatigue resistance tests and complies with the standards of GB/T 19844-2005 and ISO 9001.
When a vehicle travels on an uneven road surface and encounters an impact load, wheels will drive axles to jump upwards, and the lower ends of the leaf springs and shock absorbers will also move upwards. During the upward movement, the leaf springs become longer, and it is accommodated by the extension of rear lifting lugs. The lower ends of the shock absorbers move upwards as their upper ends are fixed, so that the shock absorbers are in a compressed state and generate damping force, thereby reducing vibration.
