12*100*1200 12L leaf springs are generally applied to balanced suspensions of 40t-level mining dump trucks or 30t-level tri-axle semitrailers. In this product, the first three leaves are identical, but the fourth leaf has a bent part on one side, and this leaf spring includes one central bolt and two clamps, with the fifth to the twelfth spring leaves being decreased in length sequentially. The leaf spring falls into the scope of dedicated assemblies for “ultra-thick multi-leaf, conventional constant-section, high strength”.

The leaf spring has the following main characteristics:
1) Simple structure, low cost
This leaf spring is formed by stacking several steel plates, while serving as an elastic device, a complex link-rod system is also omitted
2) High carrying capacity, high reliability
For this model of leaf spring, a rated axle load of a single axle is 12-20 t, and only a single leaf needs to be updated during failure repairment
3) Large weight, poor comfort
A set of 12L leaf spring assembly has a weight of 90kg to 100kg, and during traveling of an automobile, this leaf spring has less comfort
4) The number of spring leaves can be increased or decreased according to practical situations
Common options include the 11L, which has one leaf less, and the 14L, which has two additional leaves. Both are frequently ordered by customers.
