This Volvo truck spring 257954 consists of nine independent spring leaves, with a straight length of the first spring leaf being 1660 mm. The straight length is decreased in sequence due to the design of the leaf spring. This assembly is formed by two clips and one central bolt. During deformation under the act of loads, the respective spring leaves slide and rub relative to each other to produce certain resistance, which promotes truck body vibration reduction and improves the driving stability and comfort. This model of leaf spring assembly can reach 375-444HBW in hardness after heat treatment, and each assembly is free of permanent deformation after two pre-loading tests, which complies with GB/T 19844 2005 and the standard ISO: 9001.
