Sway bars are crucial parts of automotive suspension system components. Their core function is to control vehicle body stability, and prevent roll, thereby enhancing handling stability and vehicle safety, as well as providing cushioning effects. Both front and rear sway bars have a tubular structure, with a diameter of 27 mm and a wall thickness of 4 mm. They are commonly used in Volvo 240 Saloons or Estate 1977-1993. The tubular design reduces the sway bars’ own weights while ensuring their acting force remains unchanged, and thus production costs are saved. The rear sway bar works in conjunction with the front sway bar to control the stability of the vehicle’s rear end, preventing oversteering and tail-swinging phenomena. The surface can be treated with painting or powder coating, which not only ensures an attractive appearance but also provides rust and corrosion resistance. When used together, this set of front and rear sway bars ensures the stability and riding comfort of the vehicle during driving.

During the production process, heat treatment is applied to bend the spring steel in its original state into simple U-shapes or complex multi-bend shapes. Then quenching and rapid cooling are carried out to ensure that the finished sway bars have extremely high strength and hardness. Additionally, the ends are flattened and drilled to facilitate connection with other vehicle parts.
