This product is an Eibach product, applicable to all 2015-2017 Mustang models, including GT, V6, and Eco-Boost. This product has a hollow tubular structure, with differences between the front and rear ends. The front bracket part has a diameter of 35 mm and a wall thickness of 6 mm, while the rear bracket part has a diameter of 25 mm and a wall thickness of 6 mm. Due to factors like the engine and other equipment at the front of the vehicle, the front bracket has a larger diameter than the rear one, providing higher torsional stiffness to prevent front-end roll.
The product adopts the hollow tubular structure to reduce weight. Hollow design helps lighten the vehicle’s own weight to a certain extent, but its torsional stiffness is slightly lower than that of a solid structure. Through our company’s continuous road tests and steering simulation, we have successfully maximized the torsional stiffness of this product. Even with reduced weight, its torsional stiffness remains strong, which not only improves safety but also meets weight reduction requirements and enhances comfortableness. Additionally, the cold bending process is used during production to preserve the material’s inherent properties, ensuring no burrs during surface treatment. This reduces surface stress, and significantly extends the product’s service life.
