This product is suitable for the Ford Focus RS, one of Ford’s top-tier performance models. The front and rear sway bars of this vehicle have different structures: the front sway bar has a diameter of φ27 mm and a wall thickness of 5 mm, while the rear one is a solid bar with a diameter of φ16 mm. The front sway bar has a larger diameter than the rear one because the Focus RS’s engine and other components are located at the front of the vehicle, concentrating most of the weight here. This means that the front sway bar requires a larger torsion angle and bears more loads, so a bigger diameter is needed to balance this. Adopting the hollow structure is to reduce the vehicle’s overall weight without compromising stability, which helps save fuel and lower costs. The rear sway bar is a solid bar of φ16 mm, enhancing stability and comfort. It more effectively prevents body roll during cornering, reduces the tilting inertia caused by large turning angles, and lessens the force exerted on passengers.
