This leaf spring 90*16*1200 is a type of leaf spring of the trailer spring series in conventional products, with a width of 90 mm, a thickness of 16 mm and an assembly straight length of 1200 mm. This assembly is composed of nine conventional single-leaf leaf springs, each having the consistent thickness of 16 mm. The topmost four single leaves are conventional leaf springs with a straight length of 1200 mm, and these four single leaves are also main leaves of the assembly. In addition, the fourth leaf is provided with a bend of 50 mm at one end. From the fifth leaf to the ninth leaf, their lengths are reduced in sequence regularly. This assembly is one of the most traditional specifications in the trailer spring series, a central hole has a traditional dimension of 16.5 mm (customizable based on customers’ demands), the single spring leaves are connected together in the middle by a bolt, and the two ends are fixed by two clips.
The conventional leaf spring is simple in production process, each leaf is a rectangular steel plate with a constant section, and no separate mold is required. The production efficiency is high, the production process for the conventional leaf spring is quite mature, and semi-automated equipment and part of fully-automated production equipment can significantly shorten the production time of the conventional leaf spring. Compared with a parabolic leaf spring, this conventional leaf spring is more suitable for use in trailers in a no-load or full-load state, and is usually used in regions where the ground is not smooth or road conditions are complex, such as mines and construction sites.
