The OEM WG9925522132 is a parabolic product for the HEAVY DUTY TRUCK GROUP series, with a specification of 25*90, which belongs to heavy-spring products. A parabolic product features a thick middle part, and is gradually thinner towards two sides slowly. This product can be applied to the Benz-Mercedes series. A parabolic product also has advantages and disadvantages, compared to a conventional one. Advantages: it is much lighter than a corresponding conventional product, without any loss in bearing capacity. Disadvantages: the producing and machining costs are high due to an additional machining step compared to a conventional product: long taper turning. This step is complex in machining process, and the process requirements need to be met by adjusting equipment continuously. Therefore, the costs are higher than that of a conventional product.
There are three middle spacing plates in this product, additionally, most parabolic products also have end spacers at their ends, which act to prevent noise and loss generated by friction and collision between leaves of the leaf spring in the running process.
A clip of the present product is a combined clip, also known as a sleeved clip. As the name suggests, a clip is made by sleeving an extra small clip on an original clip, which is then connected and secured firmly with short clip bolts and nuts. In terms of cost, such clips are slightly more expensive than wrapped clips and through-bolt clips. The reason is that the sleeved clips have one additional small clip compared to through-bolt clips and wrapped clips.
