Front sway bar

This is a solid rear sway bar with a thickness of 22 mm, and is suitable for front suspensions of Subaru vehicles. The sway bar mainly has two functions. First, it reduces the lateral roll of the vehicle body. The extent of this reduction depends on the overall roll stiffness of the vehicle. Increasing the roll stiffness only reduces the rolling of the vehicle body and does not change the lateral load transfer between the wheels. The other function is to adjust the handling balance of the vehicle. By changing a ratio of roll stiffness between front and rear axles, the vehicle can produce oversteer and understeer. Since each pair of wheels is connected by an anti-roll bar, their mutual operation eliminates the front and rear roll, allowing the four wheels of the vehicle to maintain a similar horizontal position.

The sway bars can generally be divided into two types. One type changes the hardness of the anti-roll bar by adjusting the length of a racing bar arm; and the other type changes the hardness of the anti-roll bar by rotating a flat bar arm. We can customize sway bars of different lengths and thicknesses according to customers’ usage needs, which can be used for regular vehicles, racing cars and modified vehicles.
