RA6 Rear-52441-S3N-013 is the after-sales part number for the “Rear Coil Spring (Right/Left Common Use)” in Honda’s official part numbering system. It is applicable to the hybrid version of Dongfeng Honda HR-V (with chassis code RA6) starting from the 2022 model year. This coil spring has a diameter of 14.8 mm, and a height of 440 mm, usually the number of coils is 7.5, and its ends are ground flat.
Honda RA6 is an MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) model of Honda Odyssey, commonly known as the “Old Odyssey” in China. Honda Odyssey (Honda Odyssey RA6/RA7/RA8/RA9, 1999-2003) is Honda’s first “Large Odyssey” officially imported into China in large quantities. It is also the “Old Odyssey” that is most familiar to domestic car enthusiasts and for which spare parts are most easily available.
For the RA6 rear coil spring, only one mold number, 52441-S3N-003, is listed in the original factory catalog. In the later period, its replacement part number became 52441-S3N-013. These two part numbers refer to the same product, and the difference only lies in the internal process upgrade number within Honda.
The structural features and advantages of the RA6 Rear spring-52441-S3N-013 are as follows:
1) Precise matching between stiffness and vehicle weight: 20 N/mm, tuning for hybrid vehicle weight increase, no jumping under no load, and no sagging under full loads
2) Double-layer corrosion resistance
Black epoxy spraying + PVC transparent sheath, which effectively prevents corrosion and is not prone to rusting
3) Ground end coils + positioning boss
Ends are ground and engaged with the boss of a spring seat, so there is no “clicking” metallic knocking sound when going over potholes.
4) Replacement is easy: replacing the spring does not require disassembling a braking pipeline, and it can be completed in 30 minutes at a roadside repair shop
5) High interchangeability: the same part is used for both the left and right sides; it is compatible with the rear spring seat of the previous-generation HR-V (RS1) and can be directly upgraded
